Vehicle ID tag

Vehicle ID tags are RFID devices that require no wiring. They come in two configurations:

• A "credit-card" form factor that is simply mounted on the inside of the vehicle's windshield, inside a specially designed windshield cardholder
• A heavy duty outdoor package mounted on the outside of the equipment chassis (typically used for containers, trains, trams buses or trucks)

Vehicle tag reader

Typically used for gate control, the vehicle tag reader automatically identifies the moving vehicle (or employee) from up to 20 feet for timely authorization. It may be wall or pole mounted and optimally oriented using specially designed mounting accessories: no buried loop or wiring is needed!

Other readers and cards

For building access control ZoneGuard supports any identification technology, such as:

• any brand of RFID (proximity cards and tags)
• mag stripe cards
• optical cards
• iButtons
• any cards and tags that you've already deployed and are presently using!
