Vehicle Data Unit (VDU)

The little black box that says a lot. FuelZone’s key component, the VDU is a microprocessor based electronic unit equipped with an RF transceiver.

• Mount the VDU anywhere inside the bus
• Connects directly to the engine computer (CAN, OBD II, J1708 ECM or Speed Sensor)
• Plug and play: no configuration or calibration needed
• Supports pulsed speed sensor and ignition signals on older equipment

Bus ID plates and disks

• Can be installed on any surface
• Withstand wash water pressure and brushes
• Long read range: 10 feet (3 meters)
• Compatible with ZoneGuard access control for automatic access control, and monitoring of buses entering and leaving the garage or the yard

Installation

• Dispenser control lines are connected to the wireless Pump Control Unit which is compact enough to be installed right onto the dispenser
• The SiteController is installed in any convenient location with a network, telephone or cellular access
• The bus ID long-range reader unit(s) is either wall or ceiling mounted at the service area(s)
